Try Hockey for Free

YSP (Youth Sports Project) is proud to support USA Hockey’s Try Hockey for Free and G.O.A.L. (Go Out And Play) initiatives as part of its mission to increase access to youth hockey and introduce new families to the sport.

These free events are designed to give children the opportunity to experience ice hockey in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment. Equipment is available to borrow, and experienced coaches will be on the ice to help participants learn basic skating and hockey skills.

No previous skating or hockey experience is required. Our goal is simple: remove barriers to participation and give every child the opportunity to discover and enjoy the game of hockey.

Events are hosted at Atlanta Ice House and supported through YSP’s commitment to youth hockey development and community outreach.

• Ages 4 & Up

• Registration is first come-first served, online or in-person day of! 

• Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 1 hour early for check-in and equipment fitting.
